About Migros

The Migros Loyalty App is a startup project of Migros, the pioneer of organized retailing in Turkey, which offers spacious stores in a wide range of formats and locations to satisfy the shopping needs of its customers. Migros decided to work with AppSamurai to increase its app downloads, registration rate, and organic boost generated via smart ad campaigns and growth strategies.

The Challenge

As a startup project under an established retail brand, the Migros Loyalty App needed to grow its install base while improving the quality of those installs. The goals were threefold: increase app downloads, lift the registration rate among new users, and drive an organic boost in the app stores, all through smart ad campaigns and growth strategies.

The Solution

AppSamurai applied precise user acquisition campaigns paired with growth-focused strategies. The approach concentrated on spending more time with the Migros Loyalty App to identify the channels and tactics that delivered the strongest combination of volume, registration quality, and organic uplift.

The Results

The campaigns produced a high correlation with an almost 50% organic uplift effect, shown in the install chart where AppSamurai-driven installs (1,262) ran alongside organic installs (610). AppSamurai delivered a 9.7% install-to-registration rate, compared with 4.1% across other paid channels. Across paid channels overall, the registration rate reached roughly 4.1%, while AppSamurai's activity drove the standout performance.

In the app store category ranking, the Migros Loyalty App climbed from 37 to Top 5 in Lifestyle. The category ranking chart highlights a peak position of 5 in Lifestyle (Free) and 192 in Top Overall (Free).
