Eti is a reputable Turkish food brand. Its Eti Puf Music Academy app is designed to provide a digital experience that starts from the product packaging. After completing the set of notes from the packaging, users can play popular songs or make their own music using Augmented Reality supported applications by placing the notes on a desired surface. The app was a successful example of an excellent branding strategy.

The Challenge

In 2019, AppSamurai and Eti came together to collaborate on boosting the Eti Puf Music Academy app. The goal was to raise the app's category store ranking and visibility on the Google Play Store so it could reach more potential users and grow installs.

The Solution

The main aim of a boost campaign is to increase the category store ranking of an app. A higher ranking increases the app's visibility to potential users, which in turn drives an organic uplift in overall downloads.

In other words, even though the high volume of installs received with a boost campaign may not all be the exact relevant users needed, the users who arrive thanks to the increased visibility that the app gains from a store ranking increase are the high-quality and relevant users who ultimately determine the success of the campaign.

The campaign delivered against three performance signals: 12% more higher volume, a 61% decrease in cost per registration, and a 47% increase in registration ratio.

The Results
