3. Your Colors
Use bright complimentary colours, preferably those associated with your brand.
4. Call to Action
You want people to click on your banner, tell them to do just that, include a “call to action”, that says. For example: Download Now, Sign-Up, Subscribe, Call… (2-3 words)
5. Simple Text
Minimize the amount of text you use. People won’t read a novel. Get to the point, keep it clear, concise, and uncluttered. (8-10 words)
Best Practices for Mobile App Banner Ads Design
Your banner design should include following elements.
1. App Icon & App Name
Immadiately inform viewers of the brand that is advertising.
2. Main App Functionality
- Short, bold statement (8 words maximum)
- Express what makes your app special or why users should download your app
3. Illustration
Express with a simple visual the main features or vertical.
4. Call to Action
- If the app is free, say it!
- Use clear button with 2-3 words.
- Use a colour that contrast from the background.
